London completes comeback, beats Strathroy, 4-3

The Strathroy Rockets could not hold down the London Nationals, and Nationals erased a three-goal deficit en route to a 4-3 win.

London never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Nationals trailed 3-0 after a power play goal by Strathroy's Stuart King at 14:59 in the first period. London knotted things up at 3-3 on a power play goal by Tanner Lafrance at 19:58 in the second period. The Nationals netted the game winner at 15:56 in the third period on a goal by Lafrance.

London got the win on the strength of a great game by Kyle L Robinson, who had two goals and one assist. Robinson scored the first of his two goals short handed at 12:02 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Strathroy. The Nationals played down a man on Troy Taylor's checking from behind. Justin Murray picked up the assist. Robinson's next tally short handed made the score 3-2 Strathroy with 1:08 left in the second period. Drew Worrad assisted on the tally.

London's offense rang up 39 shots on the Rockets' net.

Trevor Dulong also scored for London. More assists for London came via Derek Todosichuk, Austin Kemp, and Colin Wilson, who contributed one each.

Strathroy kept the Nationals' goalie busy throughout the game, and Justin Tugwell made 29 saves on 32 shots.

The Rockets were helped by Dan Chapman, who finished with one goal. Chapman scored short handed 5:10 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Strathroy. A tripping call on Matt Laberge put Strathroy on the penalty kill. Mark MacAulay picked up the assist. Strathroy also got a goal from Tyler Duarte as well. In addition, Strathroy received assists from Brett Dalton, Sam Vokes, and Nick Boyer, who each chipped in one.

London incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. For the Nationals, Taylor was ejected from the game. Mat Ouellet recorded 35 saves for the Rockets. Strathroy incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
