Huge game by Rosales boosts M3-Oakland University over M3-Calvin College, 5-2

AJ Rosales was all over the ice for M3-Oakland University, as he tallied one goal and two assists in M3-Oakland University's 5-2 win over M3-Calvin College.

Rosales scored on the power play 14:44 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M3-Oakland University. M3-Oakland University had gained a power play chance when Jacob Durian was whistled for cross checking. Zachary Massa assisted on the tally. Rosales dished an assist on Jacob Harlick's goal that made the score 4-0 M3-Oakland University at 12:46 into the second period. He added another helper on Harlick's goal that made the score 5-0 M3-Oakland University at 15:51 into the second period.

M3-Oakland University put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M3-Calvin College to score on any of its five power plays. With 36 shots on target during the contest, M3-Oakland University exceeded the 0.3 shots it averages per game this year.

M3-Oakland University also had goals scored by Robert Easterbrook and Robert Lauro, who each put in one. In addition, M3-Oakland University received assists from Chris Hellebuyck, Matthew Zuelch, Brennen Orr, and Jeffrey Clemence, who each chipped in one.
