Tihema's goals lift Adelaide Adrenaline to 5-1 victory over Brisbane Goannas

Kate Tihema had two goals to lead Adelaide Adrenaline to a 5-1 victory over Brisbane Goannas.

Tihema's tallies came at 1:33 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Adelaide Adrenaline and on the power play 7:32 into the first to make the score 3-1 Adelaide Adrenaline.

Adelaide Adrenaline's Claudia Tom was a brick wall in net, as she came up with 25 saves and let only one puck past her. Despite the solid performance, Tom will actually see her goals against average rise, as it stood at 1.18 entering the contest.

By firing 20 shots on goal, Adelaide Adrenaline exceeded the 4.0 shots it averages per game this year.

Adelaide Adrenaline additionally got points from Natasha Farrier, who also registered two goals and two assists to lead the team in points and Sari Lehmann, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. More assists for Adelaide Adrenaline came via Bethanie Kavanagh, who had three and Kirsty Venus, Tess Reynolds, and Candice Mitchell, who each chipped in one.
