Sheehan nets hat trick, leads M3-Metropolitan State Univ. Denver to 6-2 win over M1 Colorado State University

The M1 Colorado State University Rams could not stop M3-Metropolitan State Univ. Denver's Daniel Sheehan, who tallied a hat trick in a 6-2 win.

Sheehan's first goal came 19:42 into the first period. He then added goals at 2:33 into the second and at 5:04 into the third.

M3-Metropolitan State Univ. Denver excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. The 27 shots that M3-Metropolitan State Univ. Denver put on net surpassed M3-Metropolitan State Univ. Denver's average of 1.1 shot per game this season.
