M2 Dayton University of survived a determined comeback attempt by M2 Louisville University of on the way to a 4-2 win.

M2 Dayton University of made the score 4-1 on a goal by Kirk Gilleland at 5:56 in the second period, and M2 Louisville University of got as close as 4-2 when Derek Piekarczyk scored 18:23 into the third period.
