Kranabetter nets hat trick, leads Valencia Flyers to 6-3 win over Las Vegas Storm

Jakob Kranabetter netted a hat trick to lead Valencia Flyers over Las Vegas Storm, 6-3.

Kranabetter got on the scoresheet 1:35 into the third period. He then added goals at 14:07 into the third and at 19:53 into the third.

Valencia Flyers' penalty kill excelled, as Valencia Flyers gave up one goal despite allowing six power plays.

Las Vegas Storm was unable to stop Valencia Flyers from sending pucks towards the net, and Valencia Flyers eventually piled up 50 shots on goal.

Valencia Flyers also got points from Wil Barnett, who also had one goal and two assists. Others who scored for Valencia Flyers included Blake Aguilar and Jason Hart, who each put in one. In addition, Valencia Flyers received assists from Ray Wilson, Mitch Nordskog, Bas Assaf, Dawson Keay, and Evan Johnson, who each chipped in one.

Las Vegas Storm was helped by Felix Brunner, who tallied one goal. Brunner scored 16:08 into the third period to make the score 5-3 Valencia Flyers. Trevin Morgan provided the assist. Las Vegas Storm also had goals scored by Brandon Bavis and Beau Ricketts, who scored one goal each. More assists for Las Vegas Storm came via Alkhas Kochkarev and Moritz Matzka, who contributed one each.

Valencia Flyers' Silvan Delb stopped 18 shots out of the 21 that he faced. Valencia Flyers incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Patrik Jokela rejected 44 shots on goal for Las Vegas Storm. Las Vegas Storm incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
