Ogden Mustangs hangs on, beats Colorado Eagles 1-0

Edvin Johansson scored the go-ahead goal in the first period, and Ogden Mustangs held off the challenges of Colorado Eagles in a tough 1-0 win.

Johansson provided Ogden Mustangs with the game-winning tally when he scored 5:59 into the first period. A boarding penalty on Ben Gundry had put Ogden Mustangs on the power play. Martin Hallin provided the assist.

Ogden Mustangs was boosted by Andreas Pettersson, who turned in a shutout with 44 saves. Pettersson certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.69 entering the contest.

Ogden Mustangs was sparked by Johansson, who finished with one goal.
