Colorado RoughRiders survived a determined comeback attempt by Colorado Evolution on the way to a 5-3 win. Colorado RoughRiders took a 5-2 lead during the third period, only to have Colorado Evolution storm back on a Dmitrijs Komarnickis goal 7:27 into the third period to pull to two goals down. Walker Harris had one goal and two assists to lead Colorado RoughRiders. Harris scored on the power play 19:57 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Colorado RoughRiders. Colorado RoughRiders had gained a power play chance when Eli Hernandez was whistled for roughing. Devon Pilkington assisted on the tally. Colorado RoughRiders forced Colorado Evolution goalie Maksims Resetnikovs to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots.
