Cotcamp's big game bests M1 Lebanon Valley College in 5-2 M1 Stony Brook University winHershey Park Arena Sun, Nov 02, 2014 Behind a great game by Ryan Cotcamp, who had two goals and two assists, the M1 Stony Brook University Seawolves defeated the M1 Lebanon Valley College Flying Dutchmen, 5-2. Cotcamp scored at 17:45 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and again while 19:40 into the second to make the score 4-1 M1 Stony Brook University.M1 Stony Brook University's penalty kill excelled, as the Seawolves gave up one goal despite allowing six power plays. M1 Stony Brook University relied on a core group of players for most of its offense, as Vincent Lopes, Cotcamp and Sam Brewster took 18 of the team's 32 shots. Andrew Balzafiore also scored for M1 Stony Brook University. In addition, M1 Stony Brook University received assists from Nick Barbera, who had two and Matt Miano, Chris Joseph, and Tyler Underhill, who each chipped in one. The 24 shots that M1 Lebanon Valley College put on net surpassed the Flying Dutchmen's average of 14.2 shots per game this season. M1 Lebanon Valley College was helped by Justin Boyd, who tallied one goal. Boyd scored 7:31 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 Lebanon Valley College. Andy Thurby provided the assist.
