Huge game by Kotzman boosts Dallas Snipers over Oklahoma City Blazers, 5-2

Dallas Snipers' Alexander Kotzman had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing three assists in his team's 5-2 win over Oklahoma City Blazers.

Kotzman beat Jakub Krejci with a shot 14:08 into the second period on the power play to make the score 3-1 Dallas Snipers. A roughing penalty on Kole Hudson had put Dallas Snipers on the power play. Mike Misantonis assisted on the tally. Kotzman dished an assist on Dusan Olsa's goal that made the score 1-0 Dallas Snipers at 3:52 into the first period. He then added assists on Pavol Kotzman's goal at 4:44 into the first and on Jean Cobo's goal at 19:37 into the third.

Dallas Snipers forced Oklahoma City Blazers' netminders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, taking 33 shots and forcing 28 saves. Krejci made 28 stops and Austin Kirby made zero. Dallas Snipers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Oklahoma City Blazers power plays.

Dallas Snipers also got points from Cobo, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Alexander Yunanov, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Dallas Snipers were Justin Becton, Gary Burk, and Sander Berg, who each chipped in one.

Oklahoma City Blazers did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. Oklahoma City Blazers averages 5.3 goals per game. Oklahoma City Blazers' offense rang up 33 shots on Dallas Snipers' net.

Oklahoma City Blazers was led by Petr Kobes, who had one goal and one assist. Kobes scored 17:11 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Dallas Snipers. Kirill Romanov provided the assist. Oklahoma City Blazers also got a goal from Dylan Lamontagne as well. In addition, Oklahoma City Blazers received assists from Matt Levene, who had two.
