Colorado RoughRiders downs Cheyenne Stampede in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

Colorado RoughRiders pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over Cheyenne Stampede on a clutch goal by Walker Harris.

Harris was all over the ice for Colorado RoughRiders, as he tallied two goals in the win. Harris found the back of the net 13:16 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Colorado RoughRiders and again while 12 seconds into the fifth to make the score 4-3 Colorado RoughRiders.

Colorado RoughRiders kept Cheyenne Stampede's goalie busy throughout the game, and Corey Foster made 31 saves on 35 shots.

Colorado RoughRiders also had goals scored by Christian Akita and Aidan Doughty, who scored one goal each. In addition, Colorado RoughRiders received assists from Christian Ramirez, Tanner Doty, Hunter Behrens, Blake Couture, Padraic Ripple, and Casey Riccatone, who each chipped in one.

Cheyenne Stampede forced Colorado RoughRiders goalie Sean Cuscaden to work between the pipes, taking 38 shots.

Cheyenne Stampede was helped by Bailey Shaver, who had one goal. Shaver scored on the power play 3:25 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Cheyenne Stampede had gotten the advantage when Colorado RoughRiders' Ramirez was sent off for cross checking. Scott Taylor provided the assist. Cheyenne Stampede also got points from Cody Key, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Cheyenne Stampede also got a goal from Branko Oktavec as well. Other players who recorded assists for Cheyenne Stampede were Markus Bergsten, Heath Lantz, and Nolan Kinney, who contributed one each.

Sean Cuscaden made 35 saves for Colorado RoughRiders on 38 shots. Colorado RoughRiders incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Cheyenne Stampede incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
