Missoula Maulers downs Lake Tahoe Blue, 6-3

Alex Shalamov grabbed two points to lead Missoula Maulers to a 6-3 victory over Lake Tahoe Blue.

Missoula Maulers kept Lake Tahoe Blue's goalie busy throughout the game, and Nick Bretzger made 40 saves on 46 shots. Missoula Maulers surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, Missoula Maulers averages 3.4 goals per contest. Missoula Maulers' penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as Missoula Maulers finished with 24 penalty minutes.

Missoula Maulers also got points from Chris Laporte, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Sam Sevcik, who also tallied two goals and one assist.
