San Diego Gulls blows out Arizona Redhawks, 6-3

San Diego Gulls had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-3 win over Arizona Redhawks.

San Diego Gulls' penalty kill excelled, as San Diego Gulls gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

San Diego Gulls was led by Ilya Sakhibgareev, who registered one goal and one assist. Sakhibgareev scored 14:19 into the second period to make the score 4-2 San Diego Gulls. Cameron Todd assisted on the tally.

San Diego Gulls stifled Arizona Redhawks' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Arizona Redhawks was unable to stop San Diego Gulls from sending pucks towards the net, and San Diego Gulls eventually piled up 38 shots on goal. Arizona Redhawks was not heavily penalized during the game, and finished with 11 minors and one major totalling 27 minutes.
