The Columbus Cottonmouths could not stop the Pensacola Ice Flyers' Adam Pawlick, who tallied a hat trick in a 4-2 win. Pawlick notched his first tally 9:12 into the first period. He then added goals at 13:22 into the first and at 15:35 into the second.Pensacola's penalty kill excelled, as the Ice Flyers gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays. Columbus had been averaging 20.0 minutes in penalties per game. The Cottonmouths were led by Bryce Williamson, who finished with one goal and one assist.
