The Peoria Rivermen's Josh Harris had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 6-3 win over the Fayetteville FireAntz. Harris scored at 1:49 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Peoria and again while 17:42 into the first to make the score 4-0 Peoria.Peoria racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with seven minors and two majors for 54 minutes in penalty time. The Rivermen surpassed its season average of 20.0 penalty minutes per game. Peoria surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Rivermen average 3.3 goals per game. The 38 shots that Peoria put on net surpassed the Rivermen's average of 27.5 shots per game this season. Peoria also got points from Mike Gurtler, who also racked up one goal and two assists and Alec Hagaman, who also registered one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Peoria included Cole Ruwe and Steve Morra, who each put in one. In addition, Peoria received assists from Matt Summers, who had two and Nick Schneider, Garrett Vermeersch, Alex Hudson, Kyle Rank, and Ryan Raven, who contributed one each. Fayetteville put 30 shots on net during the contest, more than the 24.4 it averages per game. The FireAntz were led by Corey Tamblyn, who dished out two assists. Kyle Rank made 27 saves for Peoria on 30 shots. The Rivermen registered two goals on two power play opportunities. For Peoria, Dan Bremner was ejected from the game. Jordan Tibbett recorded 32 saves for Fayetteville. The FireAntz totaled 23 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 2-for-6 on the power play.
