Mississippi RiverKings gutted out a close 4-2 win against the Huntsville Havoc. Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Mike Grace's goal in the second period proved to be the difference maker. Mississippi RiverKings was paced by Grace, who had one goal. Grace scored 12:02 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Mississippi RiverKings. Devin Mantha assisted on the tally. The 34 shots that Mississippi RiverKings put on net surpassed Mississippi RiverKings' average of 24.4 shots per game this season. Mississippi RiverKings also got points from Matt Beer, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Mississippi RiverKings included Paul Ciarelli and Matt Whitehead, who scored one goal each. Mississippi RiverKings totaled seven minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play. Kevin Genoe recorded 30 saves for the Havoc. Huntsville totaled nine minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 0-for-1 on the power play.
