Mississippi RiverKings wins tough contest against Louisiana, 4-2Cajundome Fri, Feb 20, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
Mississippi RiverKings gutted out a close 4-2 win against the Louisiana IceGators. No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Linden Bahm at 10:23 of the second period. Bahm was all over the ice for Mississippi RiverKings, as he racked up two goals in the win. Others who scored for Mississippi RiverKings included Devin Mantha and Dmitri Peremikin, who each put in one. In addition, Mississippi RiverKings received assists from Matt Whitehead, who had two and Ryan Marcuz, Paul Ciarelli, Mike Hayward, Leo Thomas, and Andrew Randazzo, who each chipped in one. Louisiana's offense was clicking better than usual and put 30 shots on goal during the game, better than the 19.6 shots per game it averages. The IceGators were helped by Adam Stuart, who registered one goal. Stuart scored 16:18 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Mississippi RiverKings. Chris Wilson assisted on the tally.
