Mississippi RiverKings outlasts Louisiana, 3-2

Mississippi RiverKings gutted out a close 3-2 win against the Louisiana IceGators.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Linden Bahm secured the win for Mississippi RiverKings with a goal in the third period.

Mississippi RiverKings was led by Bahm, who tallied one goal. Bahm scored 7:33 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Mississippi RiverKings. Devin Mantha picked up the assist.

With 30 shots on target during the contest, Mississippi RiverKings exceeded the 27.0 shots it averages per game this year.

Others who scored for Mississippi RiverKings included Dylan Quaile and Sean Jones, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Mississippi RiverKings were Luke Warner, Daniel Sobotka, Dan Delisle, and Matt Whitehead, who contributed one each.

Louisiana was helped by Adam Stuart, who had one goal. Stuart scored on the power play 8:20 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Louisiana.
