Crown Coliseum    Fri, Dec 26, 2014

The Knoxville Ice Bears pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over the Fayetteville FireAntz on a clutch goal by Berkley Scott.

Fayetteville's power play was ineffective against Knoxville's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

In addition, Knoxville received assists from Christian Weidauer, Jason Price, Ryan Salvis, and Francis Drolet, who contributed one each.

Knoxville was unable to stop the FireAntz from sending pucks towards the net, and Fayetteville eventually piled up 32 shots on goal.

The FireAntz were helped by Austin Daae, who finished with one goal. Daae scored on the power play 4:32 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Fayetteville. Fayetteville had gotten the advantage when the Ice Bears' Eric Satim was sent off for interference. Mike Kavanagh provided the assist. Randy Cameron also scored for Fayetteville.
