Jeremy Boyer was all over the ice for the Louisiana IceGators, as he tallied two goals in Louisiana's 3-0 win over the Fayetteville FireAntz. Boyer scored at 16:09 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Louisiana and again while on the power play 7:15 into the third to make the score 2-0 Louisiana.The IceGators stifled Fayetteville's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Louisiana kept the FireAntz's goalie busy throughout the game, and Dustin Carlson made 29 saves on 32 shots. Chris Wilson also scored for Louisiana. Other players who recorded assists for Louisiana were Clark Byczynski, Benjamin Rubin, Matt Robertson, Reid Lesswing, and Adam Stuart, who contributed one each. Fayetteville was led by John Clewlow, who took five shots. Marco De Felippo recorded 23 saves for the IceGators. Louisiana totaled 13 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 1-for-2 on the power play. The FireAntz totaled nine minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major and went 0-for-4 on the power play.
