CBR Brave tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but Melbourne Mustangs held on for a 4-2 victory.

A goal by Jamie Bourke put Melbourne Mustangs up 4-1 in the third period, but CBR Brave pulled to within two on Aaron Clayworth's tally 11:02 into the third period.
