Shawn Mackie was all over the ice for the Port Hope Panthers, as he tallied two goals in Port Hope's 4-1 win over the Amherstview Jets. Mackie scored at 14:19 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Port Hope and again while 10:55 into the second to make the score 3-0 Port Hope.The Panthers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. Amherstview was unable to stop Port Hope from sending pucks towards the net, and the Panthers eventually piled up 31 shots on goal. Others who scored for Port Hope included Josh Cameron and Kallen McFarland, who scored one goal each.
