The Deseronto Storm fell behind early, and the Port Hope Panthers kept piling on the points on the way to a 15-1 victory. Braeden Kublick had one goal and two assists to lead Port Hope. Kublick scored 3:43 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Port Hope. Liam Rowe picked up the assist. Deseronto's 11 penalties came back to haunt it, as the Storm let up four goals while on the penalty kill. The Panthers kept Deseronto's goalie busy throughout the game, and Alex Crouter made 37 saves on 52 shots. Port Hope found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. This season, the Panthers average 6.1 goals per contest. Port Hope additionally got points from Hunter Baker, who also had one goal and one assist, Jacob Spicer, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Rory Milne, who also registered one goal and one assist, Dan Lagrois, who also racked up two goals and four assists to lead the team in points, Chandler Gillespie, who also tallied two goals and one assist, Mike Smith, who also had one goal and two assists, and Shawn Mackie, who also registered one goal and two assists. Port Hope also had goals scored by Dylan Baxter, who had three and Connor Turland and Jordan Leigh, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Port Hope were Tyler Davey, who had three and Kyle Mulinnus, Matthew Hunt, Chays Ruddy, and Kallen McFarland, who contributed one each. Port Hope's defense shut down the Storm's forwards for much of the game, and Deseronto got off only 11 shots during the contest. The Panthers' starting goalie, Alec Brown, made four saves and finished with the win before he was taken out in favor of Jacob Brown (AP), who stopped six shots. Port Hope incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Storm incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with 11 minors.
