Graeme Gemmill-Peters was superb between the pipes for the Amherstview Jets, as he did not allow a goal in a 7-0 victory over the Deseronto Storm. Amherstview was led by Cody Smith, who registered one goal. Smith scored 6:08 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Amherstview. Brody Taylor provided the assist. The Jets put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Deseronto to score on any of its three power plays. Amherstview forced the Storm goalie Alex Crouter to work between the pipes, taking 61 shots. The Jets bested their season scoring average. Amherstview has scored at the pace of 4.0 goals per game during the current campaign. Amherstview also got points from Brett Yake, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Jordan Howe, who also racked up one goal and three assists to lead the team in points, Taylor, who also had one goal and one assist, and Max Brunner, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Amherstview included Joey Mayer and Cassidy Bruni, who scored one goal each. More assists for Amherstview came via Ben Bianco, who had two and Adam Alcorn and Dorian Overland, who contributed one each. Deseronto's offense rang up 36 shots on the Jets' net. Graeme Gemmill-Peters made 36 saves for Amherstview on 36 shots. The Jets incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Crouter rejected 54 shots on goal for the Storm.
