Revell's big game bests Campbellford in 5-1 Napanee win

Behind a great game by Zack Revell, who had two goals and one assist, the Napanee Raiders defeated the Campbellford Rebels, 5-1.

Revell found the back of the net on the power play 14:07 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Napanee and again while 19:46 into the first to make the score 2-0 Napanee.

Campbellford was stymied by Napanee's netminder Sam McDonald, who stopped 32 shots during the victory. McDonald certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.95 entering the contest.

The Raiders forced Rebels' goalies to work without much rest, finishing with 34 shots and forcing 29 saves. Cole Mahoney made 16 stops and Reilly Dunn made 13. Napanee was held back by its power play unit, which tallied two goals on 14 chances.

Napanee also got points from Adam Bennett, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Mitch Pearce, who also registered one goal and one assist. Napanee also got a goal from Jordan Cannons as well. More assists for Napanee came via Nicolas Schuler, who had two and Troy Wylie, Cullen Hinds, Austin Boulard, and Will Peirson, who contributed one each.

The Rebels were held below their usual level of production. Campbellford puts an average of 3.4 pucks into the net per game. The Rebels' offense rang up 33 shots on the Raiders' net. Campbellford could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 50 minutes in penalties during the game.

Napanee incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Rebels registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
