The Port Hope Panthers opened up a four-goal lead after the first period and did not look back en route to a 7-2 win over the Campbellford Rebels.

Port Hope was led by Kallen McFarland, who tallied one goal and one assist. McFarland scored 1:14 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Port Hope. Cameron Lowery picked up the assist.

The Panthers forced Campbellford goalie Cole Mahoney to work between the pipes, taking 44 shots.

Port Hope additionally got points from Dan Lagrois, who also registered one goal and one assist. Port Hope also had goals scored by Chandler Gillespie, who had two and Chays Ruddy, Tyler Davey, and Mike Smith, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Port Hope were Connor Turland, Liam Rowe, Dylan Baxter, Rory Milne, and Braeden Kublick, who each chipped in one and Cameron McGill and Jacob Spicer, who contributed two each.

The Rebels were led by Andrew Doxtator, who finished with one goal and one assist. Doxtator scored on the power play 3:54 into the third period to make the score 5-2 Port Hope. Campbellford had gotten the advantage when Port Hope's Brandon Baks was sent off for slashing. Colin Doyle provided the assist. Campbellford also got a goal from Jeremiah Doherty as well. More assists for Campbellford came via William Lameroux, who had one.

Branson Schell recorded 22 saves for the Panthers. Port Hope totaled 29 minutes in penalty time with seven minors and one major and went 3-for-9 on the power play. For the Panthers, Ruddy was ejected from the game. Cole Mahoney made 37 saves for the Rebels on 44 shots. Campbellford totaled 33 minutes in penalty time with nine minors and one major and went 2-for-7 on the power play. The Rebels ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Jon Samis was ejected from the game.
