Lakeshore downs Alvinston, 5-2

Sebastian Kanally tallied two points to lead the Lakeshore Canadiens to a 5-2 victory over the Alvinston Flyers.

Alvinston was unable to stop Lakeshore from sending pucks towards the net, and the Canadiens eventually piled up 41 shots on goal.

Lakeshore additionally got points from Brenden Crundwell, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Lakeshore included Nick Tavolieri-Essex, Steven Sartor, and Josh(APM) Talerico, who each put in one. In addition, Lakeshore received assists from David (APM) Collins, Nick Goran, Aaron Moore, Brenden Goran, Connor Goodchild, and Mejoe Gasparovic, who contributed one each.

The Flyers were helped by Josh Moore, who registered one goal. Moore scored on the power play 13:05 into the first period to make the score 2-2. An interference penalty on Liam MacDougall had put Alvinston on the power play. Kirklin Dorman assisted on the tally. Zach VanEyk also scored for Alvinston. Other players who recorded assists for Alvinston were Joe Archer, Karsten Berg, and Chad Rainsberry, who each chipped in one.

Colin Tetreault rejected 25 shots on goal for Lakeshore. The Canadiens incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. Cam MacAlpine made 36 saves for the Flyers on 41 shots. Alvinston incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
