Jacob Theoret had one point to lead the Wallaceburg Lakers to a 2-1 victory over the Alvinston Flyers.

Wallaceburg excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.

Wallaceburg also got a goal from Lucais Meyskens as well.

Alvinston could not produce up to its normal offensive output. The Flyers put an average of 3.3 pucks into the net per game.

Alvinston was led by Karsten Berg, who scored the team's only goal. Berg scored 6:36 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Alvinston. Joe Archer picked up the assist.

Joel Sowinski recorded 16 saves for the Lakers. Wallaceburg incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Flyers' Cam MacAlpine stopped 21 shots out of the 23 that he faced. Alvinston incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
