Kincardine survives Hanover comeback, wins 3-2Davidson Sun, Sep 14, 2014 Story by Narrative Science.
The Hanover Barons tried to dig themselves out of a two-goal hole, but the Kincardine Bulldogs held on for a 3-2 victory. A goal by Sam Feagan put Kincardine up 3-1 in the third period, but Hanover pulled to within one on Tyson Soers's tally 6:40 into the third period. The Barons' power play was ineffective against the Bulldogs' penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded. Hanover was unable to stop Kincardine from sending pucks towards the net, and the Bulldogs eventually piled up 31 shots on goal. Kincardine also got points from Gerrit Satosek, who also registered one goal and two assists and Patrick Wiejak, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Hanover also got a goal from Colton Culbert as well. Other players who recorded assists for Hanover were Denver Hill, who had one. Mitch Campbell made 24 saves for Kincardine on 26 shots. The Bulldogs incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. For Kincardine, Dalton Hnatko and Luke Czuczman were ejected from the contest. Cody Van der Heide rejected 28 shots on goal for the Barons. Hanover incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. |
