The Tavistock Braves had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-3 win over the Paris Mounties.

Tavistock was paced by Cody Bateman, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Bateman scored short handed 13:45 into the second period to make the score 4-2 Tavistock. The Braves were on a disadvantage when Maverick Petrie went off the ice for goalie interference.

Tavistock forced its penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up six minors and one major for 47 minutes in penalty time. The total exceeded the 32.0 minutes per game the Braves had been spending in the box. Tavistock outdid its season average for goals scored. The Braves average 2.9 goals per game.

Tavistock also got points from Josh Hill AP, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Tavistock included Josh Borys AP, who had two and Braedon Hancock and Jamie Shoemaker, who scored one goal each. In addition, Tavistock received assists from Jordie Schneider, who had two and Liam Kelly, Mackenzie Sealy, and Drew Wagler, who contributed one each.

Paris stifled Tavistock's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Mounties' offense rang up 40 shots on the Braves' net.

Paris was helped by Clayton Chalmers, who registered one goal and one assist. Chalmers scored on the power play 8:00 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Tavistock. The Mounties earned a power play opportunity when Wagler was put in the box for slashing. Tyler Arsenault provided the assist. Paris additionally got points from Brett Wilson, who also had one goal and one assist. Mitchell Harvey also scored for Paris. Other players who recorded assists for Paris were Brady Wheelans, Brodie Smith, and Merrit Crumback, who each chipped in one.

Tavistock's Ben Larder stopped 37 shots out of the 40 that he faced. The Braves registered zero goals on seven power play opportunities. For Tavistock, Shaun Pickering was ejected from the game. Zach Shomphe made 15 saves for Paris on 21 shots. The Mounties totaled 46 minutes in penalty time with three minors and two majors and went 2-for-8 on the power play. Team's Jacob Norcott, Tye Calder, and Smith were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game.
