Erin downs Fergus, 2-1

Liam Adamson grabbed one point to lead the Erin Shamrocks to a 2-1 victory over the Fergus Devils.
Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 14:57 into the second period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with two game misconducts.
Fergus excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. The Devils did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Fergus puts an average of 3.4 pucks into the net per game.

For the Shamrocks, Nicolucci was ejected from the game. Alex Elliott made 28 saves for the Devils on 30 shots. Fergus totaled 25 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major and went 1-for-4 on the power play. The Devils ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Matthew Clarke was ejected from the game.
