Trevor Bloch recorded a shutout against the Penetang Kings as the Stayner Siskins picked up a 1-0 win. Quinten Bruce's game-winning tally was the game's only goal. It came at 3:39 in the third period. Sean Healy picked up the assist. Stayner was led by Bruce, who had one goal. The Siskins' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Penetang power plays. Stayner was held below its usual level of production. The Siskins average 4.3 goals per game. Stayner forced Penetang goalie Adam Redgate to work between the pipes, taking 45 shots. The Kings excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.
