Behind a great game by Nic Archibald, who had two goals and two assists, the Alliston Hornets defeated the Stayner Siskins, 6-3.

Archibald scored at 10:05 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Alliston and again while 18:40 into the third to make the score 5-3 Alliston.

Alliston was efficient when it shot the puck, scoring its goals on only 14 shots.

The Hornets capitalized on Stayner's penalties, netting two goals while skating with a man advantage.

Alliston additionally got points from Steve Griggs, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Mark ODonnell, who also racked up one goal and two assists, and Matt Taylor, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Matt Hamilton also scored for Alliston. Other players who recorded assists for Alliston were Brendan Spencer, who had one and Tanner Dockerty, who had two.

The Siskins found themselves stymied offensively, and got off a mere 11 shots against Alliston's defense.

Stayner was led by Ricky Darrell, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Darrell scored 13:05 into the second period to make the score 3-3. Cooper Martin picked up the assist. Others who scored for Stayner included Quinten Bruce and Dylan Bursey, who scored one goal each. In addition, Stayner received assists from Ben Lougheed, who had one.

TJ Sherwood rejected eight shots on goal for the Hornets. Alliston incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Trevor Bloch made eight saves for the Siskins on 14 shots. Stayner incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
