Mike Traves gave the Fergus Devils a 4-3 (OT) victory over the Alliston Hornets when he scored 3:35 into the extra period. Fergus nearly gave up a two-score lead. The Devils made it 3-1 on a power play goal by Patrick Snell at 19:21 in the second period. Alliston pulled to within 3-2 on a goal by Jamie Bennett at 1:28 in the third period. Traves and James Murray provided the spark for Fergus, combining for two goals and four assists. Traves tallied one goal and two assists and Murray also notched one goal and two assists. The Devils forced the Hornets' goaltenders to work all game long, racking up 41 shots and forcing 37 saves. TJ Sherwood made 12 stops and Tyler Brindle made 25.
