Jacob Tuck registered one point to lead the Alliston Hornets to a 6-2 victory over the Midland Flyers.

Alliston put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Midland to score on any of its three power plays.

Alliston additionally got points from Mark ODonnell, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Alliston included Matt Cochrane, who had two and Steve Griggs and Tanner Dockerty, who each put in one. In addition, Alliston received assists from Jamie Bennett, Payton Dunlop, Gianluca Pallotta, Nick Arcan, Matt Taylor, and Ryan Franks, who contributed one each.

The Flyers were helped by Will Craig, who finished with one goal. Craig scored 7:12 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Alliston. Midland also got a goal from Steven Pickard as well.

The Hornets' TJ Sherwood stopped 18 shots out of the 20 that he faced. Alliston incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Jake Norton made 18 saves for Midland on 23 shots. The Flyers incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors.
