Alliston's Tuck deadly on offense in 6-2 win against Orillia

Behind a great game by Jacob Tuck, who had two goals, the Alliston Hornets defeated the Orillia Terriers, 6-2.

Tuck's tallies came on the power play at 10:40 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Alliston and on the power play 15:18 into the third to make the score 6-2 Alliston.

Orillia was unable to stop Alliston from sending pucks towards the net, and the Hornets eventually piled up 33 shots on goal.

Alliston also got points from Payton Dunlop, who also had one goal and two assists. Mark ODonnell also scored for Alliston. In addition, Alliston received assists from Nick Arcan, who had one and Brendan Spencer, who had three.

The Terriers were led by Matt Clifford, who registered one goal and one assist. Clifford scored 3:24 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Alliston. Denny Benson assisted on the tally. Orillia also got a goal from Ryan Tucci as well. Other players who recorded assists for Orillia were Jason Stone, who had one.

Tyler Brindle recorded 15 saves for Alliston. The Hornets incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Orillia's Gordie Weiss stopped 27 shots out of the 33 that he faced. The Terriers incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Orillia ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Brock Welsh was ejected from the game.
