The Fergus Devils fell to the Schomberg Cougars, 6-3.

Schomberg forced Devils' goaltenders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, totaling 42 shots and forcing 36 saves. David Serra made nine stops and Alex Elliott made 27. The Cougars surpassed their usual scoring output this season. This season, Schomberg averages 2.0 goals per contest. The Cougars got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. Schomberg could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 78 minutes in penalties during the game.

The Cougars were helped by Connor Whiteside, who had one goal. Whiteside scored 4:43 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Schomberg. Bobby Quinn picked up the assist.
