John Clewlow netted a hat trick to lead Sydney Ice Dogs over Perth Thunder, 6-3.

Clewlow's first goal came 2:29 into the second period. He then added goals at 3:36 into the third and at 4:30 into the third.

With 54 shots on target during the contest, Sydney Ice Dogs exceeded the 3.8 shots it averages per game this year.

Sydney Ice Dogs also got points from Dave Dunwoodie, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Simon Barg, who also had one goal and four assists to lead the team in points.
