Melbourne Ice wins tough contest against Sydney Ice Dogs, 3-2

The game between Melbourne Ice and Sydney Ice Dogs was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Melbourne Ice emerged with a 3-2 win.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Jason Baclig secured the win for Melbourne Ice with a goal in the third period.

Melbourne Ice was sparked by Baclig, who registered one goal and one assist. Baclig scored 18:27 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Melbourne Ice. Jeremy Brown assisted on the tally.

Melbourne Ice stifled Sydney Ice Dogs' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Melbourne Ice put 33 shots on net during the contest, more than the 3.5 it averages per game.
