CBR Brave's Anton Kokkonen had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 3-1 win over Perth Thunder.

Kokkonen's tallies came at 32 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 CBR Brave and 16:02 into the third to make the score 3-1 CBR Brave.

CBR Brave was led by goalie Petri Pitkanen, who finished with 27 saves while allowing one goal. Pitkanen certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 3.72 entering the contest.

Perth Thunder's power play was ineffective against CBR Brave's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

CBR Brave also got points from Mathieu Ouellette, who also registered one goal and two assists. Other players who recorded assists for CBR Brave were Kai Miettinen, who had one.

Perth Thunder's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four CBR Brave power plays. Perth Thunder did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season.
