Mark Gaynor registered one point to lead San Jose Jr. Sharks 16U to a 5-2 victory over Everett Jr. Silvertips 16U.

San Jose Jr. Sharks 16U put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Everett Jr. Silvertips 16U to score on any of its four power plays. San Jose Jr. Sharks 16U got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

San Jose Jr. Sharks 16U additionally got points from Evan Pace, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for San Jose Jr. Sharks 16U included Misha Ekchenguer, Dante DiNapoli, and Brendan Tydingco, who scored one goal each. More assists for San Jose Jr. Sharks 16U came via Andrew Bascom, who had two and Jake Acton, Greyson North, Tyler Nelson, Eamonn Miller, Evan Rittenhouse, and Cameron Ward, who each chipped in one.

Everett Jr. Silvertips 16U could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 22 minutes in penalties during the game.
