Madison Capitols 18U survives penalties, beats Arizona Bobcats 18U, 3-1

Arizona Bobcats 18U failed to take advantage of its power play opportunities and Madison Capitols 18U shook off a number of penalties to win, 3-1.

Madison Capitols 18U was paced by Jules Vigy, who racked up one goal. Vigy scored 7:39 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Madison Capitols 18U. Matthew Carr provided the assist.

Madison Capitols 18U's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Arizona Bobcats 18U power plays. Arizona Bobcats 18U was unable to stop Madison Capitols 18U from sending pucks towards the net, and Madison Capitols 18U eventually piled up 36 shots on goal.

Madison Capitols 18U also got points from Phil Erickson, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Madison Capitols 18U also got a goal from Clayton Brown as well. In addition, Madison Capitols 18U received assists from Chase Mickleson, who had one.
