Arizona Bobcats 18U uses shootout to best San Jose Jr. Sharks 18U, 4-3

Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Arizona Bobcats 18U defeated San Jose Jr. Sharks 18U in a shootout 4-3.

The shootout featured 10 attempts between both teams. San Jose Jr. Sharks 18U got a shootout goal from Aidan Ward. Arizona Bobcats 18U also got a shootout goal from Jacob Kerns.

Arizona Bobcats 18U was led by Erik Pritchard, who registered two goals. Pritchard scored the first of his two goals at 9:51 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Arizona Bobcats 18U. Chase Gillaspie provided the assist. Pritchard's next tally made the score 3-2 Arizona Bobcats 18U with 6:59 left in the second period. Jordan Nolan assisted on the tally.
