Lansing Capitals 18U took a 3-1 lead during the third period, only to have San Jose Jr. Sharks 18U storm back on a Ryan Meure goal 10:40 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

Lansing Capitals 18U pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 14 penalty minutes.

Lansing Capitals 18U was helped by Shane Dunsmore, who finished with one goal. Dunsmore scored 7:25 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Lansing Capitals 18U. Justin Riffel provided the assist. Lansing Capitals 18U also got points from Kieran Durgan, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points.
