Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U hangs on, beats Pikes Peak Miners 18U 3-1

Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U took the lead against Pikes Peak Miners 18U in the first period and maintained it until the end of the game to secure a tight 3-1 victory.

A goal 7:47 into the first period by Paul Boutoussov proved to be the game winner, and powered Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U to the victory. Evan Camba picked up the assist.

Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U's penalty kill excelled, as Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays.

Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U was sparked by Aaron Murray, who tallied one goal. Murray scored 2:33 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Anaheim Jr. Ducks 18U. Andrew Truxaw assisted on the tally.
