San Jose Jr. Sharks 16U holds on for 3-2 win against Pursuit of Excellence 16U

Pursuit of Excellence 16U tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but San Jose Jr. Sharks 16U would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-2.

A goal by Eamonn Miller put San Jose Jr. Sharks 16U up 3-0 in the third period, but Pursuit of Excellence 16U pulled to within one on Matthew Kowalski's tally 16:35 into the third period.

San Jose Jr. Sharks 16U's penalty kill excelled, as San Jose Jr. Sharks 16U gave up one goal despite allowing 17 power plays.

San Jose Jr. Sharks 16U found itself stymied offensively, and got off a mere six shots against Pursuit of Excellence 16U's defense. San Jose Jr. Sharks 16U could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 48 minutes in penalties during the game.
