HC Dallas 16U holds on for 4-3 win against West Michigan Hounds 16U

HC Dallas 16U survived a determined comeback attempt by West Michigan Hounds 16U on the way to a 4-3 win.

A goal by Kyle Tilley put HC Dallas 16U up 4-2 in the third period, but West Michigan Hounds 16U pulled to within one on Jack Sampson's tally 16:51 into the third period.

Chase Nies had a great game for HC Dallas 16U, netting two goals. Nies found the back of the net 2:49 into the first period to make the score 1-0 HC Dallas 16U and again while 4:48 into the third to make the score 2-2.

HC Dallas 16U put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow West Michigan Hounds 16U to score on any of its three power plays. HC Dallas 16U's offense rang up 35 shots on West Michigan Hounds 16U's net. HC Dallas 16U bested its season scoring average. This season, HC Dallas 16U averages 1.7 goal per contest.

Jace Foskey also scored for HC Dallas 16U. More assists for HC Dallas 16U came via Conner Hunt, Kevin Cassidy, Austen Halpin, and Cameron Ferguson, who contributed one each.
