Pursuit of Excellence 16U completes comeback, beats California Titans 16U, 4-3

Undaunted by a two-goal deficit, Pursuit of Excellence 16U battled back to claim a 4-3 victory over California Titans 16U.

Pursuit of Excellence 16U let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. Pursuit of Excellence 16U took a 3-2 advantage on a goal by Matthew Kowalski at 5:54 in the second period. Pursuit of Excellence 16U went down 2-0 after California Titans 16U's Neev Begim put the puck home at 12:27 in the first period. After tying things up at 3-3 on a goal by Troy Robertson at 57 seconds in the third, Pursuit of Excellence 16U got the game-winner from Oleg Senko at 12:54 in the third period.

Pursuit of Excellence 16U was sparked by Senko, who had one goal.

Pursuit of Excellence 16U additionally got points from Alec Zawatsky, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Pursuit of Excellence 16U also got a goal from Riley Smoler as well. In addition, Pursuit of Excellence 16U received assists from Cayden Kraus, who had two and Liam Manwarring, Ethan Trampuh, Riley Thorpe, and Bryson Cecconi, who each chipped in one.
