Despite having to fight off several power plays, Pikes Peak Miners 16U was able to defeat California Titans 16U, 2-0.

Pikes Peak Miners 16U was led by Ross Hanson, who tallied one goal. Hanson scored on the power play 5:37 into the third period to make the score 1-0 Pikes Peak Miners 16U.
