New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U holds on for 2-1 win against California Titans 16U

California Titans 16U tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U held on for a 2-1 victory.

New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U took a 2-0 lead during the second period, only to have California Titans 16U storm back on a Daylon Mannon goal 11:06 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U was paced by Davin Van De Zilver, who grabbed one goal. Van De Zilver scored 40 seconds into the second period to make the score 2-0 New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U. Nick Godfrey provided the assist.

New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U stifled California Titans 16U's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.
